Job Description:
The Diabetes Consultant is responsible for delivering excellent, empathy-driven patient service to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. This role focuses on educating prospective patients about clinic services, providing ongoing diabetes care consultations, and actively driving the conversion of prospective leads into active MCI healthcare solutions customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted health consultant, providing comprehensive recommendations and accurate information regarding medical services, doctor schedules, medical procedures, and relevant clinic facilities to both existing and prospective patients.
- Serve as an after-sales support system, guiding patients through their diabetes management journey and product usage questions.
- Handle patient complaints with deep empathy, deliver swift and effective solutions, and resolve issues proactively to ensure a positive experience at the clinic.
- Process and manage medical service registrations for patients precisely and accurately within the clinic's internal system.
- Coordinate and synchronize patient appointments with doctors, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure an optimal, smooth, and efficient service workflow.
- Track, record, and maintain accurate data on patient arrivals and consultations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team by providing structured patient data insights to support future marketing strategies and retention campaigns.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, Pharmacy, or a related Medical/Healthcare discipline (highly preferred to ensure clinical credibility).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Customer Service, Telesales, Patient Relations, or Admin roles within hospitals, clinics, or wellness industries.
- Basic clinical knowledge of diabetes management, metabolic health, and general clinic workflows.
- Proficiency in operating Clinic Management Systems, CRM software, or basic Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for patient logging.
- Strong lead conversion or persuasive sales-funneling techniques over WhatsApp/Phone.
- Able to handle patients who may be anxious or frustrated with their health conditions.
- Strong public relation skills, clear articulation, and a comforting tone of voice.
